The Lineup
Regal’s headline piece is the Wall Crawler Popcorn Tin, a building shaped container styled after a Brooklyn walk-up complete with a fire escape, a Deli-Grocery awning, and a sculpted Spider-Man climbing the brick exterior. It comes with a large popcorn included. Regal is also running a Premium Collectible Combo with a sculpted Spider-Man head tin and a web pattern cup featuring the spider emblem, filled with popcorn and soda. Look closely at the mask artwork on the Premium Collectible Combo bucket and you will spot Scorpion’s reflection in Spider-Man’s eye, a nice detail most fans are going to miss on the first look.
AMC’s exclusives are the Thwip Cup with Action Straw, a light-up cup with a swinging Spider-Man feature set against city skyline art, the Spider-Man Head, a head-shaped bucket, and the Spidey Suit Bucket, a red and blue web-patterned container with the spider emblem across the front. AMC is also carrying a Cup with Mystery Topper in three character variants.
Cinemark has the deepest lineup of the three chains. The standout is the Spider-Man Combo Container, a sculpted webbed hand that holds popcorn in the open glove and a drink built into the wrist, with a free same day refill. Cinemark is also offering a Popcorn Tub with Lid featuring Spider-Man web artwork, also with a free same day refill, and a Popcorn Tin and Cup Combo that brings comic book cover artwork to both pieces. Rounding out the lineup is a Collectible Combo with a Spidey drink topper filled with popcorn and soda, a 32oz Color Changing Cup filled with ICEE, and a 32oz Bottle styled after Spider-Man’s mask. A Thwip Blanket featuring comic style artwork is also available and is not exclusive to one chain, it’s showing up across multiple theater concession stands.
Marcus Theatres’ lineup has moved well past “coming soon.” Under its Make Summer Pop promotion, Marcus is carrying its own version of the webbed hand combo container, the same color-changing cup shared across multiple chains in different colorways, and a set of tin popcorn buckets featuring Spider-Man artwork, including the comic-style Thwip design and the action shot bucket spotted in earlier previews. Marcus has not put out a dedicated reveal post on its own channels yet, but the items are showing up in chain comparisons across multiple outlets, so treat this as close to final rather than a tease.
Epic Theatres has confirmed its own Spider-Man: Brand New Day exclusives. The standout is a building shaped popcorn tub styled after a New York deli-grocery storefront, complete with a sculpted Spider-Man climbing the brick exterior, similar in concept to Regal’s Wall Crawler Tin but with Epic’s own design. It pairs with a cup featuring a small Spider-Man figure perched on a rooftop-style lid topper. Epic is also carrying the tin assortment showing up at multiple chains this summer, including the action pose tin, the comic style Thwip tin, and the Brand New Day branded tin, along with a web pattern cup and hanging Spider-Man bucket, and a sculpted webbed hand popcorn and drink holder similar to the one Cinemark and Marcus are both carrying. Epic confirmed the lineup on its own Instagram account, encouraging fans to stop by next month to grab the collectibles ahead of the film’s release.
Alamo Drafthouse is skipping the popcorn bucket route entirely and going all in on the experience. The chain is showing Brand New Day in its premium Big Show theaters, with an HDR by Barco option for sharper contrast and color. An exclusive Spider-Man drink and shake menu runs July 28 through August 17, and select locations are running a Spider-Man themed Jeopardy! interactive game show, along with Marvel Multiverse Tabletop Role Playing Game sessions in the bar. Early Access screenings are also part of the lineup. If you are chasing a bucket, this is not your chain for Brand New Day, but if you want the most over-the-top theater experience, Alamo is making a real push.
Fandango has also entered the collectibles space with a Spider-Man: Brand New Day Exclusive Poster Bundle, priced at $45 and available for pre-order now through the Fandango FanStore. The bundle includes one movie ticket to see the film plus a 12 by 18 inch exclusive poster featuring a retro sunburst design with Spider-Man seated above the city skyline. The poster ships separately from the ticket code and is expected to begin shipping in July, with the bundle currently shipping within 30 days of order.
Availability
All chains say their exclusives will be available at participating locations while supplies last, with no national guarantee that every location will carry every item. Alamo Drafthouse has confirmed its lineup (see above), and Marcus Theatres’ items are showing up at participating locations under its Make Summer Pop promotion. Cinemark has confirmed pricing on one bundle, the XD Super Ticket runs $40 for a Thursday, July 30 screening at 7pm local time. AMC and Regal have not released pricing on their exclusives. Based on past sculpted bucket releases like the Across the Spider-Verse character buckets, expect AMC’s Spidey Suit Bucket and Spider-Man Head to land in the $25 to $35 range, with the Thwip Cup likely closer to $15. Regal’s Wall Crawler Tin, given its scale and the included large popcorn, will likely price closer to $35 to $40. Cinemark’s Combo Container will likely follow its usual sculpted-piece pricing in a similar range once announced. These are estimates based on comparable releases, not confirmed figures.
The Early Access Angle
AMC and Cinemark are both running premium Thursday night screenings ahead of Friday’s wide release, each with its own bundle. AMC’s Opening Night Event puts the film in Dolby Cinema on July 30 with a pair of collectible Spider-Man socks included.
