Disney+ is bringing one of its biggest months of 2026 in June, headlined by the June 24 premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash and the same-day debut of Behind the Attraction Season 3, a two-episode special focused entirely on Disney Cruise Line and the making of the Disney Destiny. The full month also includes the Hamilton hip-hop documentary, Adventure Time: Side Quests, the Bonnaroo livestream, a new Pixar streaming marathon, and a steady lineup of new episodes across kids, family, and international content.

Here is everything coming to Disney+ in June 2026, organized by what matters most to Disney fans.

Behind the Attraction Season 3: Disney Cruise Line — June 24

The biggest premiere for Disney parks and Disney Cruise Line fans this month is Behind the Attraction Season 3, dropping June 24 with all episodes streaming at once. The two-episode special turns its lens on Disney Cruise Line for the first time, tracing the fleet’s origins from its 1998 launch through the present day, with particular focus on the Disney Destiny — the first Disney Cruise Line ship built around a heroes and villains theme. Executive producers Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Brian Volk-Weiss return from earlier seasons. We covered the full announcement in detail at Fantasy Land News.

Also on June 10, Disney+ adds The Magic Behind Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, a behind-the-scenes look at the Imagineers and artists who shaped the newest addition to the Polynesian resort, including the tropical terrace gardens and island theming from Bora Bora, Hawaii, Samoa, and Fiji. Parks fans have two strong reasons to tune in this month before the Avatar premiere even arrives.

Avatar: Fire and Ash — June 24

Who's Who in 'Avatar: Fire and Ash': Character Guide

The third chapter of the Avatar saga arrives on Disney+ on June 24. The film follows Jake Sully and his family as they navigate the aftermath of a devastating loss, seeking allies in the Wind Traders while facing a new threat from the Ash People, a group who blame Eywa for the destruction of their home. Disney notes that some flashing-lights scenes may affect photosensitive viewers. Avatar: Fire and Ash and Behind the Attraction Season 3 land on the same day, making June 24 the single biggest day of the month on the platform.

The documentary explores the connection between the Broadway phenomenon and the hip-hop roots that inspired it, including the Hamilton Mixtape that followed. Lin-Manuel Miranda appears alongside Busta Rhymes, Nas, Questlove, Black Thought, Angie Martinez, Common, Dessa, Residente, and more.

Adventure Time: Side Quests — June 29

Adventure Time returns on June 29 with Adventure Time: Side Quests, a companion series to the Emmy, Peabody, and Annie Award-winning original. The new series follows Finn and Jake across the land of Ooo in standalone adventures from Warner Bros. Animation, premiering on Disney+ to close out the month.

Bonnaroo Livestream — June 11 Through June 14

Disney+ and Hulu are livestreaming all four days of Bonnaroo this month. Day 1 goes live June 11 at 7:45pm ET, Day 2 on June 12 at 7pm ET, Day 3 on June 13 at 7pm ET, and Day 4 on June 14 at 5pm ET. The festival takes place in Manchester, Tennessee and is known for its diverse lineup and multi-day camping format.

New Series and Premieres

Dragon Striker premieres June 10 with all episodes streaming at once. The animated series is set at Kal Asterock, an elite school where sports and magic combine, following farm boy Key as he discovers his abilities and joins a team to challenge the school champions alongside goalkeeper Ssyelle. Doctor on the Edge, a Hulu Original Korean drama about an elite plastic surgeon reassigned to a remote island, premieres June 1 and drops new episodes across the month through June 29. Disney Jr. Ariel: The Little Mermaid Season 2 also begins June 1, sending Ariel and friends into a new undersea realm called the Crystal World.

Best of the World with Antoni Porowski arrives sometime in June with all episodes at once. The National Geographic series follows Antoni Porowski through Paris, Mexico City, London, and New York in search of authentic travel experiences beyond the standard tourist path.

Kids and Family Content

Chibiverse Season 4 launches June 6 with new episodes that bring crossover chaos involving pirates, monster wrestling, and time travel. Locker Diaries: Phineas and Ferb Shorts premieres June 6 with two episodes and continues with new installments on June 13 and June 20, following Phineas and Ferb through school adventures from inside their lockers. Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends returns June 12 with new episodes following Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho. Disney Jr. Play Break Shorts debuts June 4, an interactive format that encourages kids to move along with their favorite Disney Jr. characters. Bananas vs. Clowns runs June 19 on ESPN2 at 7pm ET, June 20 on ESPN+ at 7pm ET, and June 21 on ESPN at 3pm ET. Bananas vs. Party Animals closes the month with a June 27 game on ESPN at 8pm ET and a June 28 game on ABC at 4pm ET.

New Streams Launching in June

Disney+ is launching a Pixar Stream on June 10, an always-on marathon pulling from across the studio’s library including Toy Story and The Incredibles. The Animated Classics Stream is already live, running a curated lineup from The Lion King and Mulan through many other favorites.

Bonus Features

The X-Files: I Want to Believe Director’s Cut Bonus Feature arrives June 11. Muppets Most Wanted: Unnecessary Extended Cut Bonus Feature arrives June 14.

Our Take

June 24 is the date to circle. Avatar: Fire and Ash is the kind of sequel Disney needs to land well, and having Behind the Attraction Season 3 drop the same day is a smart pairing for fans who will be spending that evening on the couch anyway. The Disney Cruise Line focus for Behind the Attraction feels overdue and the Disney Destiny angle gives it a hook beyond nostalgia. The Hamilton documentary is a genuine surprise that should land with a much wider audience than just Broadway fans, and Adventure Time: Side Quests closing out the month means June ends as strong as it starts. This is a month worth planning around.
