A new Baymax popcorn bucket featuring Mochi from Big Hero 6 is coming to Tokyo Disney Resort on July 1, 2026.

The bucket is shaped like a mochi rice cake, with Baymax holding a small popcorn box while the cat-like Mochi figure eyes it hungrily. The official description puts it perfectly: Baymax appears to be protecting the popcorn from being eaten by Mochi. Baymax’s face and left hand are both movable, adding a playful interactive element to the design.
Priced at ¥3,100 (roughly $19.50 USD at current exchange rates), guests are limited to one souvenir-included menu item per person per transaction. The bucket launches at two locations: the Popcorn Wagon next to The Gazebo in Tokyo Disneyland’s Adventureland, and the Popcorn Wagon next to Aquatopia in Tokyo DisneySea’s Port Discovery area.
This one is a Tokyo-exclusive for now, but Baymax bucket designs have a history of generating serious collector demand. Keep it on your radar. For everything popcorn bucket-related across Disney parks and movie theaters, visit our Disney Popcorn Buckets hub.
