Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 opens in theaters on June 19, 2026, and the theater collectible lineup heading to AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus, and Swan Drive-In is already shaping up to be one of the biggest of the year. Tickets go on sale May 26 at 9 AM, and that ticket sale event is expected to bring the full US collectible reveal with it. Until then, international theaters are already doing the teasing for us.
Images surfacing from international markets show a Buzz Lightyear-themed popcorn bucket that will look immediately familiar to anyone who followed the 2022 Lightyear movie rollout. The bucket is nearly identical to a Lightyear collectible that never made it to US shelves, now repackaged under the Toy Story 5 branding. It features Buzz’s signature green and white suit, colorful chest buttons, a Space Ranger badge, and a clear dome lid replicating his helmet visor. Seeing it finally make it to theaters in any form is a treat for collectors who missed out on the original.
International screens are also showing off a set of character tumblers styled as Woody, Buzz, and Jessie, each with matching hat lids. Woody gets the brown cowboy hat. Jessie gets her red one. Buzz gets a domed helmet-style top to complete the trio. These appear to be the cups that will complement the full bucket lineup stateside.
The rumored US lineup is genuinely stacked. The centerpiece is a large Toy Box Chest bucket, most likely priced around $79.99, described as a premium square container with 3D character figures attached. The other showpiece is going to be a Lilypad-themed bucket nodding directly to the film’s tablet villain, which may light up. Beyond that, Woody hat and Jessie hat tins are expected. A Buzz Lightyear snack-themed bucket. Rounding out the lineup are hexagon 130oz tins in a six-sided format, plus multiple standard circle tins, plastic character cups with Woody and Jessie hats to match the buckets, a cup with a charm or keychain attachment, and a cup featuring Woody, Buzz, or Jessie as the lid itself.
None of this has been officially announced for US theaters yet. Everything above is based on international reveals ahead of the May 26 ticket sale. That date is the one to watch.
