Magic Key holders at Disneyland Park can pick up the new King Arthur Carrousel Popcorn Bucket starting May 14, 2026, a Magic Key exclusive designed by Disney artist Ashley Taylor. The bucket is inspired by the beloved Fantasyland attraction and does something no standard popcorn bucket does: it spins, lights up, and plays music.

The detail on this one is genuinely stunning. Taylor’s design captures the carousel’s signature blue and gold color palette, the white horses mid-gallop, and the warm glow of the attraction lights — which you can see in the image above reflected beautifully against the real carousel in the background. This is a display piece as much as it is a popcorn container.
The bucket will be available while supplies last at select popcorn carts throughout Disneyland Park. There is a limit of one per Magic Key holder per transaction, no discounts apply, and a valid Magic Key pass is required at point of purchase. Both a park reservation and valid admission are required for park entry.

Our Take: This one immediately brings to mind the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Popcorn Bucket that dropped as a surprise release at Walt Disney World in February 2025. That bucket spun, played music, and was filled from the top — and if the King Arthur version follows the same design DNA, it should work exactly the same way. Disney has not specified the fill method in the official details, but carousel buckets of this type are typically loaded from the top given the spinning mechanism inside. If you have the Prince Charming bucket and loved it, this is the West Coast counterpart you have been waiting for.
