Romance Blooms With The Premiere of Kentucky Roses on Hallmark Channel. Hallmark Channel is off to the races tonight with the premiere of the brand new May movie. ‘Kentucky Roses’ premieres tonight at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel and will stream tomorrow on Hallmark+.

‘Kentucky Roses’ stars Andrew Walker and Odette Annable as Ash and Sadie. The story is about a greenhouse worker, Sadie, and the son of Churchill Downs’ CEO, Ash, who form an unlikely pair, coming together to save the Kentucky Derby rose blanket and uncovering a generational love story along the way.
‘Kentucky Roses’ is directed by Clare Niederpruem, who is no stranger to the Hallmark Channel. Clare has previously directed Hallmark Channel hits such as ‘A Grand Ole Opry Christmas,’ ‘A Pinch of Portugal’, and a personal favorite, ‘Villa Amore.’ Jamie Pachino wrote ‘Kentucky Roses’. She is a prolific Hallmark Channel writer, having written ‘Long Lost Christmas’, ‘A Bramble House Christmas’, and ‘On The Twelfth Date of Christmas.’

Hallmark Channel has had a great press run for this movie. Andrew Walker and Odette Annable have appeared on many talk shows to promote the movie. They are at Churchill Downs for the Derby. You can watch the 152nd Kentucky Derby today at 6:57 pm EST. Andrew Walker also put out a Kentucky Roses merch line with Dressing Festive. Hallmark has put out their own merch line for the movie. They put out Kentucky Roses wine and a Kentucky Roses jewelry collection.

While the Derby is considered the greatest 2 minutes in sports, hopefully ‘Kentucky Roses’ is the greatest 2 hours on Hallmark Channel. May will also see more new movies with ‘All’s Fair in Love & Mahjong‘ and several mystery movies.
