The Devil Wears Prada 2 opens in theaters May 1, and Disney Springs is already fully dressed for the occasion. We visited AMC DINE-IN Disney Springs 24 today and found a free kiosk handing out Runway Magazine, a giant red devil heel you can take a selfie with, red carpet banners flanking the theater entrance, and a cast photo op backdrop — all available right now before the film even opens.
The Giant Red Heel at Disney Springs Is the Photo Op You Will Want
Near the Vera Bradley store and Fit2Run, a larger-than-life glossy red stiletto is on display with a devil trident in place of the heel. It sits on a branded platform that reads “The Devil Wears Prada 2 — In Theaters May 1” and is roped off with red velvet barriers. It is impossible to miss and very easy to photograph. If you are anywhere near Disney Springs this week, walk past it at a minimum.
There is also a full cast photo op backdrop set up in the outdoor area, featuring life-size cutouts of the film’s cast in front of a branded step-and-repeat, with a red carpet laid out in front of it. Both activations are outdoors and free to access without going inside the theater.
The Free Kiosk Inside AMC Gives Out Runway Magazine and Beauty Samples
Inside the West Side lobby of AMC DINE-IN Disney Springs 24, a touchscreen vending machine-style kiosk is running April 27 through May 3 from 11 AM to 8 PM, or while supplies last. It is branded with character posters of Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway and promises a runway-ready gift with every interaction.
We picked up a copy of the Runway Magazine prop — a mock issue of the film’s fictional fashion magazine featuring Emily Charlton on the cover, labeled “The New Powerhouse.” It is a genuine collectible and one of the better freebies we have seen tied to a theatrical release in a while. Beauty and styling samples are also part of the kiosk distribution. There is no purchase required.
The kiosk line was moving quickly during our visit, and signage directs guests where to queue. If you are planning to go, going earlier in the day gives you a better shot at full stock.
A Golden Ticket Opportunity Starts April 30
Beginning April 30, guests at the kiosk also have a chance to receive a special golden ticket that unlocks access to an on-site Glow Up Station — a surprise styling experience before heading into the theater. Up to 32 guests per day across all participating locations will be selected. This is not guaranteed for everyone who stops by, but it is worth knowing about if you are planning a visit later in the week.
The Theater Itself Is Fully Dressed for the Occasion
AMC DINE-IN Disney Springs 24 is not quietly hosting this activation. The theater exterior is covered in Devil Wears Prada 2 banners featuring the full cast, and a red carpet runs from the street to the front entrance, flanked by tall branded banner poles on both sides. The whole setup reads more like a premiere night than a standard pre-release rollout. It is worth a walk-up even if you are not going inside.
