In the morning, we’re making waffles, but tonight it’s popcorn. AMC Theatres is celebrating the 25th anniversary of DreamWorks Shrek with The Outhouse Popcorn Collectible, a bucket shaped like the wooden outhouse from Shrek’s swamp, available starting May 1 while supplies last.
Last Updated April 23, 2026. While no other theater chain has announced a Shrek 25th Anniversary Popcorn Bucket, we expect to hear something soon. Check out the newest releases like the Tom Cruise Top Gun 40th Anniversary Helmets.

The collectible comes shaped like the crescent-moon outhouse that has become one of the most recognizable images in animated film history. It holds a large popcorn, which is included with the purchase. You can grab yours at AMC Theatres here before they’re gone.
Twenty-five years ago, DreamWorks released a film about a mean lord who exiles fairytale creatures to the swamp of a grumpy ogre, who is then forced to go on a quest to rescue a princess just to get his land back. That ogre, of course, was Shrek, and that swamp became one of the most beloved settings in modern animation. The outhouse that stands on the edge of that swamp is now a popcorn bucket, which honestly feels right. We expect the price to be around $30.00.
If you collect movie theater popcorn buckets, you already know how fast the best ones disappear. This one has anniversary energy behind it, which means it will move fast. The May 1 availability date is your window. We will keep tabs on stock as the date approaches over at our movie theater popcorn bucket hub.
