Glitch Productions and Fathom Entertainment announced today that “The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act” will have its worldwide premiere in U.S. theaters nationwide from June 4-7, 2026, with tickets on sale now. The theatrical release combines the recently released episode eight with the all-new, hour-long episode nine, meaning everyone who sees it in theaters is watching the series finale before anyone else in the world.

Created by Gooseworx, “The Amazing Digital Circus” has surpassed 1 billion online views since its 2023 debut. It also ranked as one of the top five most-viewed Netflix shows globally in its first two weeks on the platform in October 2024, more than a year after its initial release. The series follows a cast of humans trapped inside a digital circus ruled by an AI named Caine, navigating increasingly unstable and surreal circumstances as they try to understand what the circus actually is and whether there is any way out.

The finale picks up with Caine gone and the circus dark. The remaining cast are left with only the mistakes and traumas of their pasts as they discover the truth about the Digital Circus and its history, and face a choice about what to do with what they uncover. The theatrical release is the only way to see episode nine before its wider release. Voice actors include Lizzie Freeman as Pomni, Alex Rochon as Caine, Michael Kovach as Jax, Amanda Hufford as Ragatha, Marissa Lenti as Gangle, Sean Chiplock as Kinger, and Ashley Nichols as Zooble. Music is composed by Evan Alderete, who also scored Hazbin Hotel.

This is the biggest independent animation theatrical event Fathom has announced since the trend of web-native shows making their premieres in theaters started gaining real momentum. We have covered theaters bringing Inanimate Insanity to Regal for its 15th anniversary screening, the BFDI and TPOT theatrical premiere at the end of January, and BFDIA 23 coming to Cinemark and Marcus Theatres.

The Amazing Digital Circus operates at a different scale than all of those. A billion views and a Netflix top-five placement put it in a category where the theatrical event is a genuine cultural moment rather than a fan service screening. The audience is already there. Now it gets a curtain call.
