D23 Is a Gold Member Exclusive Event
A D23 Gold Membership is required to purchase tickets. There is no general public ticket sale. If you do not currently hold a Gold Membership, you need to join before April 2 to have any chance at tickets. Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans receive priority queue access at 10 a.m. PT on April 2. All other Gold Membership types, including the complimentary plan through Disney+ Perks, can join the queue starting at 12 p.m. PT the same day.
Charter Members get the earliest access of anyone. If you have held a continuous individual D23 Gold Membership since before December 31, 2009, you qualify as a Charter Member and can purchase tickets during an exclusive pre-sale starting March 31, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT.
Gold Membership also comes with a commemorative event gift, discounts and offers at Downtown Disney during event week, and priority access to the ticket queue. If you are on the fence about joining, the ticket priority access alone is worth it given how fast passes sold out in 2024. Visit d23.com/join to become a Gold Member before the sale opens.

Every Ticket Type for D23 2026
Disney has structured tickets into two tracks this year: passes that include access to the Honda Center evening showcases, and passes that cover the Anaheim Convention Center show floor only. A brand new Afternoon Only option has been added for 2026 as an entry-level way into the event.
The 3-Day D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass is the top tier. It includes three days of floor seating at the Honda Center with the same seat each day, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and new for 2026, exclusive RSP access to select limited-edition pins. Pricing ranges from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on seat location. This is the pass for fans who want the best possible position at all three Honda Center showcases.
The 3-Day D23 Ultimate Fan Pass includes three days of assigned seating at the Honda Center and three days of Convention Center access. Pricing starts at $297 for the 3-day option. This is the full-event pass for most serious attendees.
The Single-Day D23 Ultimate Fan Pass covers one reserved seat at the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday Honda Center presentation and same-day Convention Center access. Pricing starts at $99 per day. Each day features a different marquee showcase, so the day you choose matters.
The 3-Day D23 Fan Pass covers Convention Center access only for all three days, with no Honda Center seating. Pricing starts at $297 for the full three days.
The Single-Day D23 Fan Pass covers one day of Convention Center access only. Pricing starts at $99 per day for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
The D23 Fan Pass – Afternoon Only is new for 2026. It covers one day of Convention Center access with entry starting at 4 p.m. on Friday August 14, Saturday August 15, or Sunday August 16. Pricing is $49 per day. This is a genuine entry point for fans who want the floor experience without committing to a full-day ticket. One important note: Afternoon Only ticket holders are not permitted to participate in the initial RSP reservation selection for Convention Center panels and experiences.
Fees
Every ticket carries an $11.25 service fee. Every transaction also carries a $16.00 delivery fee regardless of how many tickets you purchase. Factor these into your budget before checkout. On a 3-day Ultimate Fan Pass at $297, the total with fees comes to $324.25 before any additional charges.
What Happens at Each Honda Center Showcase
The three evening presentations at the Honda Center are the headline moments of D23. Each day has a distinct focus. Friday, August 14 is the Disney Entertainment Showcase, covering films, television, and streaming. Saturday, August 15 is the Disney Experiences Showcase, historically where the biggest parks announcements land. Sunday, August 16 is the Disney Legends Award Ceremony. If you are buying a single-day Ultimate Fan Pass, Saturday’s Experiences Showcase is typically where the most significant Disney parks news breaks, based on how 2024 played out.
Week-Long Events Beyond the Main Event
The D23 experience stretches well beyond the three main days. A D23 Member Preview runs on Saturday, August 8. D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing House is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11. D23 Night at Angels Stadium falls on Wednesday, August 12. D23 Day at Disneyland Resort anchors Thursday, August 13, including a Disney Legends Cavalcade and complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats while supplies last. Gold Member offers and benefits run throughout the entire week from August 8 through 16. Fantasy Land News will cover each of these events as details are confirmed.
The Ticket Waitlist
If tickets sell out before you get through the queue, a waitlist opens for a limited time after ticket sales close. To join, you need your Gold Membership number and will be asked to indicate your preferred ticket types. Submitting early does not improve your position since all waitlist requests are placed in random order after the list closes. Fans selected from the waitlist will be notified by May 15, 2026, by both email and a phone call from the D23 team. The waitlist does not guarantee tickets.
Key Rules to Know Before You Buy
Each Gold Member may purchase up to six tickets total, regardless of ticket type. All attendees must have a ticket for entry, including children ages 2 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All ticket sales are final with no refunds or cancellations permitted for any reason, including illness or travel changes. Tickets can be transferred to other guests, but the recipient must have a D23 Member account to claim the badge. The only authorized ticket transfer site is tickets.d23.com. Tickets purchased from third-party resellers may not be valid and D23 will not honor, replace, or refund invalid tickets.
The FLN Take on D23 2026 Tickets
The new Afternoon Only pass at $49 is the smartest addition Disney has made to the D23 ticket structure in years. It removes the biggest barrier for casual fans who wanted floor access without paying $99 for a full day or traveling from out of state for a half-day event. If you live within driving distance of Anaheim and have no interest in the Honda Center showcases, this is genuinely the best value option. The tradeoff is no RSP panel access, which matters most to collectors chasing limited pins. For everyone else, $49 plus fees for a few hours on the show floor is a fair entry point to the biggest Disney fan event in the world. As always, the Saturday Experiences Showcase is where parks fans should focus their energy if choosing a single day at the Honda Center.
