Cinemark and Regal have revealed a second Project Hail Mary collectible arriving when the film opens on March 20, 2026, the Rocky Habitat Popcorn Bucket, a 105oz geodesic sphere container with Rocky’s articulated claw gripping the outside. Cinemark is also offering a Rocky Shoulder Buddy plush at $14.95 and a Project Hail Mary Helmet Popcorn Bucket. Both chains confirmed the items are “Available while supplies last at participating locations.”
The Rocky Habitat Popcorn Bucket is one of the more creative bucket designs released for any film this year. The container itself is a clear geometric sphere made up of flat, faceted panels, the shape directly referencing the geodesic structure of Rocky’s habitat in the film. Rocky’s arm and articulated claw reach over the top of the sphere, gripping the outside of the container from above. A colorful Project Hail Mary-branded strap wraps around the base. It holds 105oz of popcorn. Cinemark includes a free same-day refill with purchase. Regal includes a free large popcorn at the time of purchase.
Rocky is the Eridian alien that Ryland Grace, played by Ryan Gosling, encounters aboard the Hail Mary spacecraft. The relationship between Grace and Rocky is the emotional core of the film and the reason the book became a phenomenon. A bucket designed around Rocky’s habitat rather than just slapping the movie logo on a standard container shows real understanding of why people responded to the story.

Regal confirmed the Rocky Habitat Popcorn Container is available now at participating locations with a free large popcorn included. Regal has not confirmed a specific in-theater price at the time of publishing. We will update when Regal pricing is confirmed.

At $14.95, it is one of the most affordable collectibles released for this film and the kind of item that will appeal to younger audiences as well as fans of Andy Weir’s novel who have been waiting to see Rocky brought to life on screen.
Cinemark posted: “NOW AVAILABLE in theatres! Our Project Hail Mary Rocky habitat popcorn bucket and shoulder buddy.” The Shoulder Buddy has not been confirmed at Regal at this time.
