I Watched All The Loveuary and Celebrating Black Voices Collections on Hallmark+. As a person who originally only watched Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas movies, I am taking the time to watch the catalog of everything else that Hallmark+ has to offer. And if ‘The Lost Valentine’ and ‘Unthinkably Good Things’ aren’t in your list of best of all time, you are Hallmarking wrong.
My backstory is that I only watched the Christmas movies. Then I saw the preview for season one of ‘The Way Home‘ and decided to watch that. I was hooked. I moved onto Hallmark+ and watched all seasons of ‘When Calls The Heart.’ From there, I watched all of ‘The Wedding March’ movies, ‘The Good Witch’, and ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered.’ Last year, I moved to all the premier movies. This year, I decided I was going to watch the rest of everything Hallmark+ has to offer.
Hallmark+ gives you neat collections that watch through instead of looking for each movie one by one. This year, they added a few new features. You can watch Rom-coms, Christmas, When Calls The Heart, and Mysteries live, nonstop. They also added a collection where you can watch every movie that is available by year.
In January, I watched all of the Winter Escape Collection and the Winter Wonderland Collection. In February, I decided to watch every Loveuary and every Celebrating Black Voices movie. I had seen some of the Loveuary movies already, but was introduced to a lot of new movies. The Black Voices Collection highlights a lot of Christmas movies that I have seen, so I skipped rewatching in favor of watching the movies that I had not seen.
Let’s look at the Loveuary category first. Each new movie that premiered in February was added to the list. I had seen and already loved ‘Love, Romance, and Chocolate’. This is where you could find every Valentine’s Day-themed movie. Some are absolutely worth a watch. There are a few that are one-and-done watches for me. Hallmark+ also added the unscripted reality series ‘Second Chance Love’ starring Matthew Lawrence and Chili and ‘Small Town Setup’ starring Ashley Williams.
‘The Lost Valentine’ made me cry. It was beautiful. “During World War II, Navy Lt. Neil Thomas bids Caroline, his pregnant young wife, farewell at Union Station. Before their son is born, Neil’s plane goes down in the Pacific, and he’s declared missing in action. Caroline is devastated. But love never dies, and for the next 65 years, Caroline (Betty White) returns to Union Station on the anniversary of her loss to salute the memory of her handsome and brave husband. Eventually, a TV journalist (Jennifer Love Hewitt) learns of the touching story and sets out to investigate just what happened to Neil 65 years earlier. Neil and Caroline’s grandson encourages his initially reluctant grandmother to cooperate; eventually, the reporter and the young man fall in love themselves.”

From there, I moved on to the Celebrating Black Voices collection. I had seen all of the Christmas movies that were in the list already and already loved those, especially ‘The Holiday Stocking.’ I worked my way through this collection one by one. I know now that some of these movies are going to be on repeat for me.
‘Unthinkably Good Things‘ should be in everyone’s top movies. It’s an amazing movie with a brilliant cast. From Hallmark Channel, at a crossroads in her career and love life, Allison (Karen Pittman) is in need of the love and support of her two friends, Melina (Joyful Drake) and Reesa (Erica Ash). When they visit her in Tuscany, the reunion causes each woman to reexamine the state of her own life and relationships. While they have different personalities and perspectives, they know each other’s truths and help to make life-changing decisions. Between the good wine, delicious food, a healthy serving of romance, set against the beautiful backdrop of Tuscany, the three women relish in the importance of friendship and inspire each other to make this next season the best one yet and to take the leap to pursue the life and loves they have always wanted.

Some movies you should not miss from this list are ‘The Groomsman First Look’, ‘Caribbean Summer’, ‘Girlfriendship’, ‘the Haunted Harmony Mysteries’, ‘A Pinch of Portugal’, ‘A Nashville Legacy’, ‘Redemption in Cherry Springs’, ‘Dater’s Handbook’, ‘Love For Real’, ‘The Vows We Keep’, and finally, ‘the Journey Ahead’. You can’t go wrong, honestly, with Holly Robinson Peete or with Heather Hemmens. ‘The Journey Ahead’ was a beautiful mother-daughter movie. I can’t recommend that one enough. Many of the Christmas movies were already among my favorites.
In conclusion, the majority of the movies in these collections should be watched, if not once, many times. The movies are not only about finding love but also about friendships and mother-daughter relationships. I’d love to hear what your favorites from these collections are.
Hallmark+ has a vast catalogue of movies and series for everyone. I can’t recommend that any Hallmark Channel fan do a deep dive on some of these movies. You won’t be sorry.
