Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Returns for the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. Get ready to “bee” amazed! As the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival prepares to transform the park into a floral wonderland, Disney has confirmed the return of a fan-favorite tradition: Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration.
Running from March 4 through June 1, 2026, this beloved scavenger hunt invites guests of all ages to follow Disney’s favorite honeybee, Spike, as he buzzes around the World Showcase collecting nectar and pollinating the festival’s iconic gardens.
While the spirit of the hunt remains the same, there are a few updates for the 2026 season. Most notably, the cost of the scavenger hunt map has seen a slight increase. To participate this year, guests can purchase their official map and stickers for $11.99 plus tax (up from $9.99 in previous years). Maps are available at select merchandise locations throughout the park, including the Port of Entry and Creations Shop, while supplies last.
How to Play
Participating in the Pollen-Nation Exploration is the perfect way to ensure you don’t miss a single detail of the festival’s stunning landscaping.
- Pick Up Your Map: Purchase your map for $11.99 at select retail locations.
- The Great Search: Search high and low for Spike the Bee. He’s hidden inside various garden beds and floral displays throughout the World Showcase.
- Stick With It: Once you spot Spike near a specific plant or flower, place the corresponding sticker on your map.
- Claim Your Prize: Once your journey is complete (or even if you haven’t found them all!), take your map to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler to receive a special festival-themed surprise.
Take Spike Home
Last year’s reward for turning in a completed map was one of four Disney character watering cans. You could choose from Orange Bird, Spike the Bee, Mickey Mouse, and the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland.
In 2025, a Spike the Bee garden stake was sold, which allowed guests to bring a bit of Flower & Garden magic back to their own backyards. While the 2026 “surprise” is still under wraps, Disney collectors are buzzing with anticipation to see if Spike returns in a similar collectible form this year.
