Tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026 will officially go on sale this April.

The news broke at the Disneyland Hotel during a special Spotlight Series panel celebrating 25 years of Disney California Adventure. While the panel included appearances by legendary Imagineers and stories of the park’s “golden” beginnings, the future took center stage when it was confirmed that the 2026 event’s ticket window opens in just two months.
This timeline matches up with previous on-sale dates. In 2024 Tickets went on sale in late March. With presales on March 26th, and General Sales on March 28th. We got ours during the D23 Gold Member Presale and had to queue up for an hour before being able to just buy some of the last tickets available for the event.
When is D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event?
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will return to Anaheim, California, from August 14 to August 16, 2026.
Following the massive success of the 2024 expansion, the 2026 event is expected to continue its multi-venue approach. Fans can likely look forward to:
- Daytime Magic: Panels, exhibits, and exclusive shopping at the Anaheim Convention Center.
- Nighttime Showcases: Major “Big Three” presentations (Studios, Parks/Experiences, and Disney Legends) held at the Honda Center.
- D23 Day at Angel Stadium: August 12th, Tickets are on sale now
- D23 Day at Disneyland: August 13th, Tickets now available
When the dates were announced during Destination D23 in August of 2025, Michael Vargo said, “We are already hard at work dreaming up ways to continue raising the bar for Disney fans next year when we return to Anaheim, and we can’t wait to bring them a truly unforgettable event.”
How to Prepare for the April Sale
Disney hasn’t released the specific day in April yet, but if history is any indication, these tickets will vanish faster than a Dole Whip in the July sun.
- Check Your Membership: Ensure your D23 Membership (Gold or General) is active, and your login credentials are up to date. D23 Gold Members typically receive a pre-sale window and discounted pricing.
