While we already know the details on Bluey, the Toy Story 5 information is brand new.
From TWDC: “We are continuously expanding storytelling in our parks, with new experiences featuring Bluey, activations planned around the release of Toy Story 5, and a new mission featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu inside Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run coming soon.”
What is a Disney Parks Activation? Disney Park activations are limited-time, immersive marketing events designed to drive engagement around new films, franchises, or milestones. By blending themed food, exclusive character sightings, and interactive storytelling, these pop-ups transform standard visits into shareable, high-impact brand experiences that resonate with guests long after they leave.
So the Toy Story 5 ‘Activations’ could include exclusive character meet-and-greets, special snacks, popcorn buckets, and merchandise. It could also be a special, limited-time show or dance party.
