Humphrey the Bear is Coming to Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian. If you’re a fan of classic Disney characters, you’re in luck. Humphrey the Bear is finally making his first-ever appearance at the Disney Parks. Starting February 6, 2026, you can find him at the Storytellers Cafe inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Humphrey will be part of Donald’s Tales of Adventure dinner buffet. If you aren’t familiar with him, he’s the hungry, mischievous bear from the old Ranger Woodlore cartoons. He’s actually the inspiration behind the Humphrey’s Service & Supplies shop over at California Adventure, so it’s a cool nod to park history.
Also part of the Disney California Adventure 25th Anniversary Collection will be a new Pixar Pal-A-Round popcorn bucket!
Celebrating 25 Years of the Grand Californian
This character’s debut is part of a bigger celebration. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is officially hitting its 25th anniversary this year.
- History: The hotel first opened its doors in early 2001. It was a huge deal back then because it was the first Disney hotel actually built inside a theme park.
