Disney Secures 28 Nominations for 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The Walt Disney Company has once again proven to be a powerhouse in inclusive storytelling, earning a total of 28 nominations for the 2026 GLAAD Media Awards. Spanning across Disney+, Hulu, ABC, Disney Jr., and Marvel Comics, the nominations highlight the company’s diverse reach in television, journalism, and print media.
Leading the charge is ABC with nine nominations, followed closely by Hulu with eight. The nominations celebrate everything from hit comedies like Abbott Elementary to groundbreaking reality series and children’s programming.
The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives. The 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards (for work in 2025) will be held in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
