Muppets Completely Removed from Disney World… For Now! Pizzarizzo sign ‘It’s Rat Pizza’, Gonzo’s Royal Flush, and of course Muppet*Vision 3D are all now gone from the old Muppets Courtyard. Which means that for the first time in almost 20 years, there are no Muppets at Walt Disney World, but that won’t last too long; they are coming back in a bigger, better, and faster way!
Over the Holiday’s Disney removed the final signage from the old Muppets Courtyard, making way for the new Monstropolis Land that is taking its place. Pizzarizzo’s sign that would light up the night at The Muppet Courtyard has finally been removed. This sign was famous because its neon lights, which normally spelled out “The City’s Top Rated Pizza” “Pizzarizzo,” would glitch and spell out “It’s Rat Pizza.”
Also removed recently was Gonzo’s Royal Flush. The bathroom name and signage had an entrance from the outside courtyard, and also an entrance to Pizzarizzo’s.
The Muppets will return to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster: This revamped attraction will come speeding into Hollywood Studios this summer, fueled by the fun tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets. It is set to open sometime in the summer of 2026. So, Muppet fans, dont be sad about The Muppet Courtyard, be excited for the new takeover of the first roller coaster starring The Muppets.
