BFDI x II Tour Returning in 2026!. Adam Katz, the creator of Inanimate Insanity, announced during his ASK ADAM LIVE on the Animation Epic YouTube channel tonight that the BFDI x II, aka Battle for Dream Island x Inanimate Insanity Tour, is coming back for 2026.
The BFDI x ii tour 2026 ‘firm’ dates and information will be released sometime in April, when they typically announce the tour information. Adam Katz went on to say, “We are excited for it, and there are some things… It’s gonna make this tour different from the previous ones.“
When a fan asked about International Dates, Adam Katz did not directly answer the question, but alluded to what he previously said about what will make this tour different. So take that for what it is.
BFDI (Battle for Dream Island) and II (Inanimate Insanity) first crossed over in 2019, then in 2022, they started doing a BFDI x II meet-up in L.A. The first proper tour was in 2024. In 2025, tickets and venues were announced in April with the tour visiting Houston, Lauderhill, FL, NYC, Chicago, Seattle, and ending in L.A. Each city had multiple showings and times.
We were on hand for the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Florida, where both Object Shows screened new episodes. There were photo ops, fan meet-ups, cos players, hard-to-find merchandise, and a chance to meet the creators of both shows. Editor’s Note: This is the show that made us want to write more about the object show community. Check out the video below. Also, follow the official tour account here.
While we have covered BFDI extensively since the BFDI x II tour in 2025, we haven’t really mentioned its unofficial sister show, Inanimate Insanity. Inanimate Insanity was created by Adam Katz in 2011, with the first episode released in April of that year. The show has a total of 66 episodes… yes, we count Season 1 Episode 5.5 as one!
Inanimate Insanity is currently on Season 4. With the most recent episode 4 coming out this past November.
Finally, check out the show. We have had the song Taco’s Tirade stuck in our heads for months now; it lives rent-free.
