Whether you’re looking for high-energy dance floors or family-friendly fireworks, Walt Disney World is the ultimate place to say goodbye to 2025. Here is your essential guide to the festivities.
Events to ring in the New Year
At EPCOT, celebrate the night away on Dec. 31 with DJ dance parties in World Celebration and around World Showcase. Enjoy “Luminous The Symphony of Us” at 6:30 p.m. before “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” kicks off its countdown at 11:54 p.m. As the clock strikes midnight in each country’s time zone, the celebration moves around the lagoon with live DJs at the Italy, Japan, China, and the United Kingdom pavilions. For a unique vibe, check out the “Silent Groove” silent disco in World Celebration.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Dec. 31, enjoy a variety of live entertainment and DJs all night long, including the Pixar Dance Party. Be on the lookout for special character experiences throughout the park, and don’t miss the New Year Countdown Fireworks. Disney released a foodie guide for NYE with snacks, treats, and drinks to try while visiting Hollywood Studios.
At Magic Kingdom Park, get a jumpstart on your celebration on Dec. 30 with “Fantasy in the Sky” at 7:30 p.m., followed by a second showing at 11:50 p.m. Both fireworks spectaculars will also greet the new year at the same time on Dec. 31. Party stages will be set up around the park. Check out Tomorrowland Stage, Frontierland in front of Country Bears, and of course Cinderella Castle Main Stage!
To enter a Theme Park, both a valid admission and a Theme Park reservation, where applicable, for the same Park and same date are required. Disney Springs: While there are no fireworks here, you can enjoy live music and the Christmas Tree Stroll (open through Jan. 4). Several restaurants like City Works and The House of Blues host dedicated countdown parties.

Arrive by noon if you want to ensure entry. Transportation after the midnight fireworks can take significantly longer than usual—patience is key! Central Florida nights in late December can drop into the 40s or 30s, so bring layers.
