Fathom Entertainment and Bandai Namco present ‘Gundam Premiere Night!’ January 2026. Gundam fans, get ready for a special night at the movies. Bandai Namco Filmworks and Fathom Entertainment are bringing a huge Gundam Premiere Night double feature to theaters on January 12, 13, and 15, 2026. First, experience Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans–Urdr-Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger, paired with the special 10th Anniversary short film Wedge of Interposition. Followed by the epic Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz–Special Edition
The theatrical premiere of Special Edition: Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt “-Path of the Little Challenger-“: This new film follows Wistario Afam, who lives in the Venus Radonitsa Colony. He meets a girl who invites him to the “Urdr-Hunt,” a race with a prize big enough to buy a colony. This film compiles footage from the Urdr-Hunt mobile game’s animated segments, along with new material.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition: This epic film, which re-edits the original OVA with new scenes, is coming back to the big screen. The movie has been newly remastered in 4K for a stunning visual experience.

The event is loaded with extra content for fans. Following the Iron-Blooded Orphans feature, you will see a bonus short film: the 10th Anniversary short, Wedge of Interposition. This short follows the members of Tekkadan as they watch their leader, Orga, struggle with his new role.
The films will be shown on January 12, 13, and 15, 2026.
- Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt and the short film Wedge of Interposition will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles on all three dates.
- Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition will be shown in an English-dubbed version on January 12 and 13. The Japanese language version with English subtitles will play on January 15
Ray Nutt, CEO for Fathom Entertainment, said that the event is a special chance for fans to celebrate the anime on the big screen. “Anime and Gundam fans will delight in the upcoming special double feature as part of the inaugural Gundam Premiere Night,” he said.
