Cinemark Has a Wild New Popcorn Bucket for the ‘Anaconda’ Movie. Movie theaters continue to try to outdo each other with unusual merchandise. Now, Cinemark is joining in with a massive new bucket for the upcoming Anaconda movie.
Here is what it looks like. It is a 130-oz metal tin covered in a snake skin pattern with the movie logo in red. But the lid is the main event. It features a sculpted green anaconda head bursting out of splashy blue plastic water. The mouth is wide open, but missing teeth, so it looks like it’s about to bite you while you eat.The price tag is $34.95.
For that price, you get the collectible bucket and an XL popcorn on the side. Cinemark is also offering a free same-day refill, so if you can eat that much popcorn, you get your money’s worth. You can pick these up at select Cinemark theaters, but they usually sell out pretty fast.
About the movie
It stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd as best friends named Doug and Griff. They have loved the original Anaconda movie since they were kids. They hit a midlife crisis and decide to go deep into the Amazon to film their own remake of the “classic.” But things go wrong. A real giant anaconda shows up, and their fun movie project turns into an actual fight for survival.
