From heartwarming shows and a spectacular parade featuring Elsa, Anna, and friends from Arendelle, to an unforgettable Encounter with Olaf, discover everything for fans of Frozen at Disneyland Paris!
Disneyland Paris is on the cusp of a historic transformation, ushering in a bold new era for its second park, which will soon be known as Disney Adventure World. This complete reimagining, which will nearly double the park’s size upon completion, officially kicks off with the highly anticipated opening of World of Frozen on March 29, 2026. This ambitious project represents a thorough overhaul of the park, with over 90% of its original offerings from 2002 being fundamentally redesigned and replaced.
Journey into Arendelle and Beyond:
The crown jewel of the expansion is World of Frozen, a stunning, immersive land that brings the beloved kingdom of Arendelle to life. Guests will be greeted by the towering North Mountain, capped by Elsa’s Ice Palace, and a vibrant village square inspired by Nordic design. At the heart of this world is Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly boat ride that uses cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics and projection technology to journey through iconic scenes from the films.
Visitors can also experience “A Celebration in Arendelle,” a lively daytime show, and enjoy a Royal Encounter with Queens Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle. Dining options include the quick-service Nordic Crowns Tavern, and the land will feature exclusive merchandise at Arendelle Boutique. Adding a touch of groundbreaking technology, a next-generation robotic Olaf—developed in close collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Animation Studios—will appear in the Arendelle Bay show, enhancing the believability of character interactions.
A Magical Promenade: Adventure Way:
Leading to the new themed lands is Adventure Way, a dynamic, lush promenade designed to welcome guests after they pass through the park’s new entrance, World Première. This vibrant walkway will feature live entertainment, including the lively Disney Marching Band, and 14 brand-new culinary experiences. The journey is dotted with beautifully landscaped areas inspired by classic stories, such as the romantic Tangled Garden and the whimsical Toy Story Garden. Seasonal entertainment, ranging from a Rapunzel and Flynn encounter in the spring to Mary Poppins in the summer, will bring the space to life year-round.
Adventure Way will also debut the new family attraction, Raiponce (Rapunzel) Tangled Spin. Inspired by Tangled, this ride allows guests to whirl in gondolas beneath a sky illuminated with floating lanterns, set to the iconic song “I See the Light.” Just beyond, the elegant The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge offers a refined table-service dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complete with murals of Disney Princesses. Here, guests can meet classic Princesses like Belle, Jasmine, and Ariel. The lounge side, the first bar in either Disneyland Paris park, features signature cocktails and stunning views of the new lake, Adventure Bay, providing a perfect vantage point for the evening show.
Nighttime Spectacular and Future Horizons:
As the day concludes, Adventure Bay will become the stage for a groundbreaking new nighttime spectacle, “Disney Cascade of Lights.” This 360° show is set to be the grand finale each evening, featuring a complex ballet of hundreds of drones, choreographed fountains, water screens, and pyrotechnics. Inspired by tales from Mulan, Moana, Up, and the Marvel Universe, this performance will feature the world’s first integration of revolutionary aquatic drones alongside next-generation aerial drones, synchronized to an original score developed exclusively for Disney Adventure World.
The storytelling will continue even after World of Frozen opens. Construction is already underway for a new themed area dedicated to The Lion King, which will feature a major attraction on Adventure Bay combining water-based thrills with cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics. Furthermore, a family-friendly, flying carousel inspired by Pixar’s Up is planned for Adventure Way, ensuring the magic and expansion of Disney Adventure World will continue for years to come.
