Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Raises $15K for Wounded Warrior Project. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort donated $15,000 to Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), capping off its annual Food & Wine Classic fundraising efforts.

The donation was made in recognition of National Veterans and Military Families Month, continuing the resort’s commitment to supporting military veterans, $ 15,000, raised primarily through the 16th annual Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a nonprofit that provides free mental health care, career counseling, and rehabilitative services to post-9/11 veterans. Swan and Dolphin Area General Manager Sean Verney presented the check to WWP Community Fundraising Manager Savannah Simmons and veteran Sharona Young (a WWP beneficiary) at the close of the two-night event.

This is the second consecutive year the event has partnered with WWP.
