TEA (Themed Entertainment Association) officially announced the Best of 2025, and EPIC Universe is the big winner of the year, taking home Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement for Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
Today, the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) announced the recipients of the 32nd Annual Thea Awards. Recognized as the most prestigious honor in the themed entertainment industry, the Thea Awards celebrate the professionals and organizations whose work brings to life outstanding achievements, bold innovation, and the world’s most immersive experiences.
Our First reaction review of Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment:
While Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment could be the greatest dark ride ever created! This ride had us in awe of animatronics and storytelling. THIS is the future of rides. Can you remember riding Spider-Man the first time, without knowing that 20 years later, people still say how great the ride is? Monsters Unchained is only better, and if it can hold up over time, every new dark ride will be compared. Universal Creative Teams have been working on getting this ride working and timing perfectly, and when we rode, all the animatronics and story elements worked perfectly. We are looking at you, Dracula! This is a must-do for everyone, and no, it is not scary for most kids.
