Object Show Creators Jacknjellify Confirm Future BFDI: TPOT Theatrical Releases. Fans now know for certain that all future episodes of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two will premiere on movie theater screens first, with airings the next day on the Jacknjellify YouTube channel.
The creators of the show went to X to share the announcement: “We are excited to announce EVERY following TPOT episode will have a theatrical premiere! This is a huge first in the Object Show Community, and we are very proud to announce this!“
This news came just hours after Jacknjellify put tickets on sale for a different season of Battle for Dream Island called BFDIA (the A stands for Again), Episode 23 “Shattered”. Tickets for the past few cinema premieres averaged $25.00 and were shown in Cinemark and Marcus Theatres across the US.
The most recent Battle For Dream Island: The Power of Two, Episode 20 Alone, sold out movie theaters when it was initially announced for AMC theaters, and more showings had to be added a week later, which eventually sold out. When the episode aired the next day on YouTube, it had garnered 1 Million Views in 9 hours.
This move proves the power of the object show genre and may pave the way for YouTube creators to secure the funding needed for future episodes.
