Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is Now Closed at EPCOT for a 2D Visual Upgrade. Fans of the delightful, oversized world of Remy are in for a treat, as Walt Disney World has announced a short refurbishment for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT. The rat-traction based on Remy from the hit Disney Pixar film Ratatouille is set to undergo a brief closure starting today to “enhanced digital visuals.” Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is removing the 3D and going 2D.

The update was posted on the Walt Disney World website, detailing the schedule for the temporary downtime and the nature of the enhancements. This change is a result of guest feedback favoring the clearer visuals of 2D and is being implemented to improve the ride experience. Disneyland Paris is also converting its version to 2D.

Walt Disney World Website has announced: “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will experience a short downtime from Nov. 10-13, 2025, and will return with enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D. Remy’s fans will spot new props and lighting enhancements when they are added to the queue and attraction over the next few months.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is located in the France Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase and invites guests to join Chef Remy on a thrilling, chaotic chase through a bustling Parisian kitchen.
