Come With Us! We’re Meeting Santa Claus at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Santa Claus is officially meeting guests during the day at the Walt Disney Presents Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Santa started meeting families daily on November 8th, and his appearances kick off at 10:00 AM. This new location was revealed the same day Santa Duffy started greeting guests for Jollywood Nights. In past years, both Santa Claus and Santa Duffy shared the same location (though not at the same time) inside It’s a Wonderful Shoppe at the Muppets Courtyard.
Be prepared for a potentially long wait, especially during peak holiday hours. We recommend checking the My Disney Experience app for the most current posted wait time upon arrival. A Disney PhotoPass photographer will be on hand to capture the magic! Be sure to have your PhotoPass, MagicBand, or phone ready to link the photos to your account. You are also welcome to take photos and videos with your own camera.

Once guests pass under the new signage, they are greeted with festive holiday paintings hanging on the walls. Olaf and Sven from Frozen are surrounded by presents, Mickey and Donald decorating a holiday tree, waving to Peter Pan, Season’s Greetings with classic Mickey Cartoons; these are all reminiscent of Rockefeller Christmas Paintings.
Once guests get through the queue, they are then greeted by a newly decorated room with Santa. Presents and a toy train are the first things guests will see. There is a cute train car with the Jollywood Nights logo on board the Mickey Express Train. There is a massive Naughty and Nice book in the middle.
Meeting the Jolly Ol’ Elf
Finally, you reach the Santa Claus meet and greet, where the Jolly Ol’ Elf is waiting to spend time with you and your family. He is seated in a grand, beautifully detailed room featuring a massive wintery scene, and of course, a Christmas Tree is beside him and his couch. Santa wears his traditional, rich, velvet red suit and is ready to hear those holiday wishes!
He spent some good quality time with each family and made sure he never rushed anyone. Of course, Santa remembered us from last year, asking how we have been. He has been watching us, and of course, we made the “Good List!”
