Drum Island Reveal for ONE PIECE Season 2 Coming March 10th 2026 to Netflix. Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew are on a mission to find medical attention for Nami on Drum Island in the original One Piece Manga. With today’s announcement that Drum Island will be a featured location in ONE PIECE Season 2, premiering on Netflix on March 10th, it looks like we will finally ‘meat’ up with Luffy’s emergency lunch, Tony Tony Chopper.
In a press release this morning by Netflix and ONE PIECE, the new location was revealed as Drum Island: “Make sure you’ve bundled up. Drum Island, a spot on the Grand Line where it’s eternally winter, is known for its freezing terrain and exceptional doctors. It also features a towering set of drum-shaped mountains, which surround the island like imposing monuments. Atop the tallest summit is the eerie Drum Castle.“
“It’s our medieval, Winterfell [on] Game of Thrones location, where you have this haunted-seeming castle at the top of a snowy mountain inhabited by someone the villagers say is a witch,” co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer Joe Tracz tells Tudum.
