Disney’s Cotino Community Unveils ‘Magic Meets Wellness’ with Optum Partnership and Character-Inspired Fitness! Storyliving by Disney Takes Wellness to a New Enchanting Level at the Artisan Club!
The magic is coming to life in a whole new way in the Coachella Valley! This fall, the Cotino community, the very first of the incredible Storyliving by Disney neighborhoods, is set to open the doors of its highly anticipated Artisan Club to members. The club will debut a spectacular new suite of health and wellness programs facilitated by the leading health and wellness provider, Optum.
The Artisan Club is designed to be a place of wonder, and now residents who choose to become members will embark on an immersive journey of holistic wellness like only Disney can deliver.
Where Heroes and Villains Inspire Your Workout!
The big news is in the details! The wellness offerings will feature exclusive, specially designed experiences inspired by your favorite Disney characters, taking the concept of “magical moments” to your fitness routine. Stitch, Moana, the Madrigal Family from Encanto!, and even a Disney Villain will be featured.
Imagineers have been hard at work, curating fitness classes that literally bring the stories to life, all managed by Optum’s healthy approach. Say goodbye to boring workouts and hello to heroic training sessions!
Here are some of the fantastic, character-inspired programs members can look forward to:
- Mastering the Breath: You can learn to master your breathwork just like the brave wayfinder, Moana!
- Moving with the Madrigals: Get ready for a high-energy Latin dance cardio class inspired by the lively and expressive family from Encanto, the Madrigals.
- The Super Circuit: Push your limits with a full-body “Super Circuit” worthy of none other than The Incredibles!
- Wicked Power Sculpt: Feel free to channel your inner villain through a “wicked power sculpt class”!
The partnership will support members’ physical, emotional, social, environmental, financial, intellectual, and occupational health, encouraging them to “live purposefully and healthfully” with the help of a dedicated on-site team.
A Club Designed by Imagineers, Infused with Magic!

The Artisan Club itself is a masterpiece of Imagineering, blending Disney’s signature touches with the mid-century modern style of the Coachella Valley. When you’re done with your superhero workout, you can relax at the beautiful Cotino Bay beach and bar area.
