‘Hazbin Hotel’ NYCC News: Season 2 Premiering October 29, New Single And Video For ‘Gravity’ Released. Fans at the packed Hazbin Hotel panel at New York Comic Con were treated to a flurry of announcements today, including the reveal of an exclusive new clip, a single, and the premiere date for the highly anticipated second season.
Prime Video announced that Season Two of the adult animated musical series will premiere on October 29. The season, which consists of eight episodes, will roll out two episodes weekly through November 19 and will be available to stream in more than 240 countries and territories.
Season Two Reveals: Clip, Music, and Vinyl
Attendees at the panel got a first look at an exclusive new clip featuring the demonic Overlord Vox detailing his master plan to The Vees.
The series also dropped a new single, “Gravity,” performed by Jessica Vosk and Alex Brightman, along with an accompanying music video. Atlantic Records has made the song and the previously released single “Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us),” available to stream on all digital platforms.
In connection with the music release, Atlantic Records has also released an Amazon-exclusive Vox Lenticular vinyl variant of the soundtrack. The special edition, which features a dynamic lenticular cover of Vox’s face, is available for purchase for only 72 hours through October 12. Pre-orders for the complete Hazbin Hotel: Season Two (Prime Original Series Soundtrack) are now available, including five vinyl variants, as well as CD and cassette offerings.
The Season Two soundtrack features new original songs written and produced by Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg, and performed by an extensive cast including Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jeremy Jordan, Jessica Vosk, Joel Perez, Lilli Cooper, Krystina Alabado, Patrick Stump, Darren Criss, Shoba Narayan, Patina Miller, Liz Callaway, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, James Monroe Iglehart, Andrew Durand, Kevin Del Aguila, Daphne Rubin-Vega and Alex Newell.
‘Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway‘ Concert Event
Executive Producer and Creator Vivienne Medrano also shared new details about the upcoming concert event, Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway.
The show, described as the first-ever concert event celebrating the adult animated musical series, is set for October 20 at the historic Majestic Theater. While series star Erika Henningsen was previously announced as the host, the panel revealed a star-studded list of additional participating cast. Performers will include Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jessica Vosk, Jeremy Jordan and Krystina Alabado, who will sing hit songs from both Seasons One and Two.
The event will also feature special appearances by Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn. Produced by RadicalMedia, the concert will be available on Prime Video at a later date.
