EPCOT Center Drive is Closed to Traffic Due to a Fatal Accident

EPCOT Center Drive is Closed to Traffic Due to a Fatal Accident. Guests trying to drive to either the Magic Kingdom or Epcot should find another route this morning. Guests getting off I-4 at 536/Epcot Center Drive/Exit 67 will be waiting in heavy traffic since the road is closed tuill just past the Bonnet Creek Parkway exit. The road may be open shortly, but traffic will be an issue for hours. The road is now reopened.

WESH 2 is reporting a motor vehicle accident involving up to 5 different vehicles, including a Motorcyclist who was fatally struck. “According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on Epcot Center Drive, also known as SR-536.”

Epcot Center Drive serves as a main entrance road off of I-4, primarily leading drivers directly to the parking plazas for both Epcot and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), which is the parking for the Magic Kingdom.

Guests trying to get to the parks can get off I-4 at exit 64, 192, and head to World Drive. Or exit 65 onto Osceola Parkway.
