Putting Lipstick on a Pig (Chicken)! New Chicken Strip Sauces to Drown Out the Taste of Mediocrity. Disney World and Disney Eats have announced that 13 different sauces are coming to the Parks and Resorts across Walt Disney World. 13 sauces to cover up the flavor of what most people assume is chicken. 13 sauces to add to the extra breading crunch, weird stringy texture, what we can only describe as heat lamp chicken on October 8, 2025.
While the chicken tender at Disney World is famously ubiquitous and the height of average. Allegedly, a piece of white chicken meat coated in an industrial-grade breading that somehow manages to be both crunchy and oddly greasy at the same time. Not to be vulgar in any way, but I believe the saying is “polishing a turd!” Adding new sauces does not fix the underlying situation.
The Disney chicken tender is a child’s meal, something to feed them, let them drown it in ketchup and sorrow. Adding these sauces is not meant for kids; it is obviously made for adults! Why? Just why? Look, we are known for giving Disney Eats and their creations glowing reviews, but there is no way to spin this one.
Announced today on a fun (not really)Disney Eats social media post, which tries to do something in fashion and fails: “Not just a meal, a look 🍗👀”, and what is worst of all is the influencer’s sycophants who “can’t wait!” “Omg best announcement of the year” because they have to add a comment to everything Disney posts.
Let’s not even get started on the names, like Seaside Chicken Strips. Nothing is appealing about those words in combination! Hyperbole at its finest, but you get the point.
