Ahead of Disney’s TRON: Ares theatrical release on October 10, 2025, a massive and intricately designed line of Popcorn Buckets and collectibles has been officially revealed by major theater chains, including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus Theaters, and Alamo Drafthouse.
With items ranging from a $75 light-up Lightcycle to an exclusive Data Disk Tumbler, the sheer volume and detail of the merchandise signal Disney and exhibitors are betting on a major box office event, mirroring the recent viral success of collectible movie memorabilia.
It took a month to get the master list of TRON Popcorn Buckets due to each theater slowly dropping the information. Plus, recently Marcus Theaters started selling the TRON: Ares Lightcycle popcorn bucket, TRON Arcade Cabinet popcorn bucket, Tron: Ares Circuit Board LED Popcorn Bucket, and Lightcycle LED Tumbler online. Tickets for Tron: Ares are now available. In “TRON: Ares,” a highly sophisticated digital Program, Ares (Jared Leto), is sent into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first face-to-face encounter with artificial intelligence. As Ares experiences his surroundings and has his first brush with humanity, his consciousness – and conscience – start to evolve.
