Celebrate TRON Day with TRON: Ares Featurette, Along with Press Tour Locations Around the Globe.
“TRON: Ares” director Joachim Rønning and cast members Jared Leto (also serves as producer), Greta Lee, Evan Peters, and Gillian Anderson reunited at The Edge in New York yesterday evening to kick off the global press tour for the highly anticipated next chapter of Disney’s “TRON” franchise.
Additionally, the following global publicity tour locations were announced today as part of TRON Day, an annual celebration observed by “TRON” fans every September 22. Greta Lee previously completed press appearances in Seoul, South Korea, on September 15 and 16.

Furthermore, movie theaters in North America are getting ready to release all the popcorn buckets and movie tie-ins as Tron: Ares gets closer to release on October 10th.
“TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The feature film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges.
Sean Bailey, Jared Leto, p.g.a., Emma Ludbrook, p.g.a., Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, p.g.a., and Steven Lisberger are the producers, with Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, Russell Allen, and Joseph Kosinski serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Jesse Wigutow, with story by David DiGilio and Wigutow, based on characters created by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.
