The Zootopia universe is expanding! Fans of the beloved animated film can mark their calendars for a double dose of Zootopia magic. Disney has officially announced that Zootopia 2 will be released in theaters on November 26, 2025. In addition to the highly anticipated sequel, a new theatrical show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, is set to open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort on November 7, 2025.
The sequel promises to bring back the dynamic duo of Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) as they tackle a new case that shakes the foundation of their metropolis. The film will introduce an intriguing new family to Zootopia’s society, and Disney has revealed the star-studded cast voicing this powerful new clan.
Meet the Lynxley Family!

The newest members of the Zootopia 2 cast are none other than the influential Lynxley family, a family of lynxes responsible for building the city’s iconic weather walls. The voices behind these characters are a powerhouse of acting talent:
- Andy Samberg is Pawbert Lynxley, the affable youngest son.
- Macaulay Culkin is Cattrick Lynxley, the ambitious eldest son.
- Brenda Song is Kitty Lynxley, the family’s sharp-tongued daughter.
- David Strathairn is Milton Lynxley, the distinguished patriarch of the family.
The new cast members join a roster of returning favorites, as well as other newcomers, including Ke Huy Quan as a mysterious snake and Quinta Brunson as a police therapist.
The excitement doesn’t stop at the big screen. Disney is bringing the world of Zootopia to life with the new show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The show, which will replace the long-running It’s Tough to Be a Bug!, will feature immersive 3D effects and is expected to open just before the film’s theatrical release. The new attraction offers a chance for fans to experience the world of Zootopia firsthand, building anticipation for the new movie.
With the film’s release date and a new theme park show on the horizon, the end of 2025 is shaping up to be a truly wild time for Zootopia fans.
