Celebrate Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month at Walt Disney World with New Magicshots ‘Encanto’ and ‘Coco’ Photo Ops.

The magic began with a single candle, and now, it continues with every smile! Walt Disney World Resort is inviting guests to celebrate the rich traditions and vibrant cultures of Hispanic and Latin American communities with a month-long celebration from September 15 through October 15. This year fans of Disney’s “Encanto” and Pixar’s “Coco” have a series of brand-new Disney PhotoPass opportunities.

From the vibrant colors of the Casita Madrigal to the whimsical world of Día de los Muertos, guests can step into the stories they love and create unforgettable memories. Here’s your guide to finding all the new DisneyPhotoPass locations inspired by Encanto and Coco across the parks:

A Journey Through the Parks with Encanto

  • The Encanto Candle: The miracle is real! You can find a beautiful photo op inspired by the iconic Madrigal family candle near the exit of Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom Park. Another location is available at the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs.
  • Mirabel: The heart of the family can be found at multiple locations! Look for Mirabel at the front entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and between Pizzafari and Creature Comforts by the “Tree of Life Garden” sign. Over at EPCOT, she’s available just before the bridge leading from CommuniCore Hall and Plaza over towards The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and in the center of World Celebration Gardens. At Magic Kingdom, strike a pose with her by the Cinderella Castle walls near Pinocchio Village Haus, and in the lawn near Casey’s Corner.
  • Isabela: Find a photo op inspired by the “perfect” sister, with her fantastical, flowering backdrop, by Discovery River near the Tree of Life between Africa and Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You can also see her heading from World Celebration into World Showcase near the Disney Vacation Club kiosk at EPCOT.
  • Luisa: Show off your strength! A powerful photo op with Luisa can be found just before the bridge leading from CommuniCore Hall and Plaza over towards The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT, across from Feathered Friends in Flight! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and on the bridge leading from Cinderella Castle into Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park.
  • Bruno: We do talk about Bruno! Find this mysterious photo op just before the bridge leading from CommuniCore Hall and Plaza over towards The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and in the center of World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT. You can also find him on the bridge leading from Cinderella Castle into Adventureland, and in the lawn near Casey’s Corner at Magic Kingdom Park.
  • Antonio: Say “hello” to all his animal friends! The photo op with Antonio is located closest to the Tree of Life in Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
  • The Encanto Window: Peek into the magical home of the Madrigal family! This unique photo op is available in the center of the World Celebration Gardens area behind Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, and in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A Musical Celebration with Coco

  • Miguel: Let’s get “un poco loco!” You can find a photo op with aspiring musician Miguel in the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT, as well as in Pixar Plaza and on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
  • Dante: Find Miguel’s loyal canine companion, Dante, in the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT.

These incredible photo opportunities are available from now through October 15, and they are the perfect way to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with your familia and friends. Don’t forget to ask a Disney PhotoPass photographer for these special shots, and be sure to use the hashtags #DisneyPhotoPass and #WaltDisneyWorld to share your magical moments online.
