Tokyo DisneySea is set to launch a year-long celebration for its 25th anniversary, titled “Sparkling Jubilee.” The festivities will kick off on April 15, 2026, and run through March 31, 2027, featuring new shows, themed decorations, and exclusive merchandise.
The event’s signature color will be “Jubilee Blue,” which will adorn the park’s eight themed ports. The celebrations will be highlighted by two new shows and a focus on beloved characters like Duffy and Friends.
What’s in Store for the Celebration?
- New Entertainment: Two new shows will bring the party to life. The “Sparkling Jubilee Celebration” will see Mickey Mouse and friends sail into Mediterranean Harbor on a special barge, inviting guests to join the festivities. In American Waterfront, the stage show “Dance the Globe!” will feature Mickey and his pals dancing to music from around the world. The show will also include fan-favorite characters like Rapunzel, Hiro from Big Hero 6, and Mirabel from Encanto, who is making her Tokyo DisneySea debut.
- Jubilee Blue Decor: The park will be transformed with “Jubilee Blue” decorations. Guests will be able to snap photos at the park entrance’s DisneySea AquaSphere and the Passagio MiraCosta, both of which will be decked out in the celebratory color. At night, the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will be illuminated with special projection effects.
- Special Merchandise and Food: You can expect plenty of limited-edition merchandise themed to the anniversary, including items featuring Duffy and his friends. Foodies will be able to enjoy special menu items and themed food wagons throughout the park, and for a limited time, the Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival will also be held.

Tokyo DisneySea opened in 2001 and has become a favorite among Disney fans worldwide for its unique, immersive ports and thrilling rides like Journey to the Center of the Earth. The recent opening of Fantasy Springs in 2024, an area inspired by Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan, has further cemented its status as a premier destination
