The gates to Epcot looked a little more festive this morning as signs and decorations for the highly anticipated 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival went up overnight, officially marking the start of the park’s annual culinary celebration.

As guests enter the park, they will see two new decorated areas, the first in the garden near the main entrance, and the second at the gateway to World Showcase. The centerpiece of the entrance display is a sculpture featuring a slice of cake with a scoop of ice cream on top, a sweet nod to the festival’s diverse offerings.

The iconic festival mascot, Remy from Pixar’s Ratatouille, is also front and center. The little chef is joined by his brother, Emile, who is seen enjoying a snack atop a piece of Swiss cheese. The rest of the display is rounded out with other cheese-themed elements, including a piece of cheese on a toothpick as if it’s ready to be served from a platter. Behind the central decorations, three mobiles hang with food-themed descriptors like “Hearty,” “Fresh,” and “Earthy.”

The second decorative installation, located at the entrance to World Showcase, is a large, centralized weather vane-style sign that perfectly aligns with Spaceship Earth in the background. It is flanked by three smaller signs with the words “Savory,” “Sweet,” and “Spicy,” reflecting the wide range of flavors guests can expect to sample throughout the festival.

The 2025 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 28 through November 22, 2025, and features over 35 Global Marketplaces serving up new and returning dishes and beverages. Beyond the food, guests can enjoy activities like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt and the popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre. This year’s concert lineup includes fan favorites like Hanson and Boyz II Men, as well as new acts like The Beach Boys and Bowling For Soup.
