Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will debut Zootopia: Better Zoogether! on Nov. 7, 2025. This new 4D show, located in the Tree of Life Theater, will center around Zoogether Day, a celebration of unity within the diverse biomes of Zootopia. The show will feature characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia” films, including Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, alongside a new character, Heidi Howler. Guests will participate in a watch party with various performances. Additionally, a new character greeting location, the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot in Discovery Island, will allow guests to meet Judy and Nick in their updated appearances from “Zootopia 2.”
Enhancements Planned for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Magic Kingdom Park’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is slated for an update in 2026. The popular roller coaster will see a refresh of its existing track and the addition of new magical elements. Renderings suggest that guests will experience the Rainbow Caverns in a new way.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Coming to Hollywood Studios
In 2026, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be reimagined as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The Electric Mayhem will headline a special concert event within the attraction. Under new management by J. P. Grosse, the Muppet Theatre owner, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Courtyard will feature new theming, including a psychedelic wrap on the guitar marquee. The storyline will involve Scooter and penguin audio engineers attempting to get the Electric Mayhem to their waiting fans, with guests joining a high-speed journey across town aided by Muppet Labs.
More Updates on the Horizon for 2026
Other additions planned for 2026 include a new gameplay experience at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom Park, a new adventure based on “The Mandalorian and Grogu” at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the previously announced The Magic of Disney Animation, also at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Walt Disney World Resort continues to invest in both its classic attractions and new experiences, promising more to explore for guests in the years to come.
