Third time's the charm! The Beak and Barrel Reservations Open Tomorrow

Third time’s the charm! The Beak and Barrel Reservations Open Tomorrow. Technically, the second time they will try and open up reservations for The Beak and Barrel Pirates Lounge, but second time’s a charm, isn’t the idiom!

Last week, there were some issues with the Disney reservation servers, as we reported at the time. Disney’s Reservation system had been fixed later in the day, but Disney decided to delay the opening of The Beak and Barrel reservations until a few days later to allow everyone to enjoy the new Pirates of the Caribbean themed lounge opening August 29th, 2025, at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This was caused by the demand for the new lounge being staggering. Everyone we have spoken to wants in! Disney has a massive hit on their hands with the new lounge, and it isn’t even open yet!

From the Walt Disney World Website: Ahoy, me hearties! Those seeking the treasures of The Beak and Barrel can begin charting their course when reservations launch on August 20, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET.

According to multiple reports from guests attempting to book, the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience app are displaying an error message that attributes the problem to “Hei Hei’s Fault.” The message, which reads “It might be Hei Hei’s Fault……that we’re having a system issue at this time. We’ll have it fixed soon, though, so please try again later,” is followed by other error screens such as “We’re Down for Maintenance!” or “We See-See-See There is a Problem.”

The widespread server crash is a direct result of the immense demand for the first-ever lounge of its kind in the Magic Kingdom. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the opening of The Beak and Barrel, and the 6:00 AM EST reservation release was met with a surge of traffic that the system appears to have been unable to handle.

For guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book reservations for your entire stay, up to 10 days, at the 60-day mark before your check-in date. Annual passholders can book reservations 60 days in advance on a rolling basis. For example, if you want to make a reservation for August 29th, you can do so on June 30th.
