Star Wars Galaxy's Edge News: Reservations End at Oga's Cantina, Disneyland transitions to Walk-Up Only Access

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge News: Reservations End at Oga’s Cantina, Disneyland transitions to Walk-Up Only Access. From the Disneyland Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge website: Incoming transmission: Beginning August 19, Oga’s Cantina will transition to walk-up availability with a traditional standby queue and will no longer offer new reservations. Any existing reservations will be honored.

Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland opened on May 31, 2019, and guests needed advance dining reservations to secure a spot. The rule was relaxed a little over the years, and on light crowd days, guests could walk up and get a reservation within a few minutes to hours. Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland is generally very crowded, even during off-peak times. So this is a surprising move by Disneyland.

There is no word as of yet whether Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resorts will follow and make it a Walk-up dining reservation.

Oga’s Cantina:

Subject to Availability. Oga’s Cantina is subject to walk-up availability. Reservations are not offered for this experience. Guests may be asked to wait in a traditional standby queue. Keep in mind, all members of your party must be present before seating, and hosts must bring your entire party to the table at one time. At least one person in the party must be 14 years of age or older.
