
HHN “Scream Early” New Rules Announced for 2025. No more holding pens! Which is great news for guests who want to “Scream Early” at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Orlando. We have a breakdown of the massive change to the rules. Universal has just released this information on the HHN website “Know Before You Go” section.
To get the Stay and Scream wristband and be able to queue early for houses, you’ll need both a daytime park ticket and a Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) ticket for the same night. If you have both, you can check in as early as 3:00 PM. If you don’t have a daytime park ticket, you can purchase a Scream Early ticket to enter the park at 3:00 PM and join the holding areas. The Scream Early Ticket is $55.00. If you only have an HHN ticket, you’ll need to wait for the general admission time, which is 6:30 PM.

Stay the Day and Be One of the First in at Night. New for 2025: When you arrive at the park starting at 3 pm, you’ll get a wristband at one of the check-in locations listed below. After that, instead of being in one designated area, you’ll be free to explore the park to catch a ride or show, grab a bite, shop for merch, or simply take in the sights before the event opens. Then, starting at 4 pm, you can enter select haunted house queues with a wristband.
