Pluto the dog was created by Walt Disney and Norm Ferguson and first appeared in the Mickey Mouse short “The Chain Gang” in September 1930. Although unnamed in that cartoon, he was a bloodhound chasing Mickey. He reappeared later that year in “The Picnic” as Minnie’s dog, Rover, and was officially named Pluto in “The Moose Hunt” in 1931. Pinto Colvig was Pluto’s original voice, but for many years now, Bill Farmer has been both Pluto and Goofy!
The Pluto Baseball Jersey costs $79.99 and is white with red pinstripes and trim, and features icons on the front that say “Pluto,” “1930,” and “The Pup” with a dog tag.
