Meet Dolores the Aquilops! New Interactive Dinosaur at Universal Orlando. Doloros and her handler will be meeting and greeting guests at the Jurassic Park Discovery Center at Universal’s Islands of Adventure today, 9 am to 10 pm, and continuing for the next few weeks during Summer at Universal.
Dolores is a character from Jurassic World Rebirth. She was recently rescued from a remote island called Isle Saint Hubert by a young girl named Isabella Delgado. Now off the island, Dolores is being looked after by her handler, an animal specialist who is responsible for taking care of her and keeping her safe. While listening to a fun lecture from her handler, you can meet with Dolores and take commemorative photos together!
Universal Orlando just announced the new interactive meet and greet, “A new dino has entered Universal Islands of Adventure! Meet Dolores, an adorable Aquilops from Jurassic World Rebirth at Universal Islands of Adventure.”
Aquilops is a small, early herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that lived in North America during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 109 to 104 million years ago. Its name, meaning “eagle face,” refers to its distinctive hooked beak. Don’t let Doloros’ small stature fool you; she is a full-grown adult!
