Ravensburger took to the streaming stage at Gen Con to show off new cards like Powerline – World’s Greatest Rock Star coming to the newest set “Fabled”, new Disney Lorcana jigsaw puzzles, and info on upcoming Disney Lorcana TCG sets Whispers in the Well and the newly announced Winterspell coming in Q1 2026. This fall, Ravensburger will launch a stunning assortment of Disney Lorcana TCG-inspired puzzles featuring original, fan-favorite artwork that will bring the game to life in a whole new way.
Available globally starting in September 2025, the collection includes six 1000-piece puzzles, each featuring iconic characters from the Disney Lorcana universe. Two of the puzzles, Amethyst and Steel, will be the first to release for fans in the United States at select Disney retailers beginning in August, and we have a sneak peek to share.
AMETHYST: Amethyst character glimmers infused with Amethyst ink are mystical and fantastical. Disney characters like Elsa, Jafar, and even a transformed Winnie the Pooh thrive by harnessing powers that are beyond imagination.
STEEL: Steel ink is all about strength, and consists of glimmers that are large, imposing, armored, or just plain powerful. As you piece together this Steel-ink inspired puzzle, you’ll find Disney’s Beast, Stitch, and Cinderella as a stouthearted knight amongst these glimmers who aren’t afraid to use brute force to accomplish their goals.
A Different Way to Experience Disney Lorcana
With these new puzzles, fans can feel immersed in Disney Lorcana like never before. Each one is themed to a color of magical ink that powers the world of Lorcana, capturing the stunning artwork and vibrant imagination of this realm.
The six puzzles, all inspired by a different ink color (Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel), showcase Glimmers – reimagined Disney characters infused with the magical qualities of the ink they represent. Characters are brought to life in both familiar and fantastical ways, allowing fans to rediscover stories and visuals they already know and love.
The designs featured on each puzzle are pulled directly from the cards in Disney Lorcana TCG, so dedicated fans will already feel right at home. Plus, each puzzle comes with a special edition Disney Lorcana TCG Mickey Mouse – True Friend promo card, allowing players to continue their collection (or start here if you’re just beginning)!
Where to Find the Disney Lorcana Puzzles
Starting August 29, for fans in the United States, the Amethyst and Steel puzzles will only be available at DisneyStore.com, Disney Store Times Square, Disney’s Pin Traders at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, and the World of Disney store at Disney Springs in Orlando.
The other four puzzles will hit shelves and be available at retailers nationwide beginning September 1. All six puzzles will also then be available at select retailers across the globe.
