Disney Cast Members and their guests were permitted to take photos, record video, and post on social media with the tag #disneycastlife.
Spoilers Ahead with full video and images from inside Sunset Showcase Theater. Including performers, music, and a full show. Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After opens Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, part of Cool Kids Summer 2025 at Walt Disney World. Disney Live Entertainment did a great job with the show, we are really happy, and our review will reflect that when released. Great Job to all the Cast Members, production, designers and producers.
The main song is not allowed to be posted – the video is missing the song What You See, Is what You get! Just sing this in your head for a few moments. The lyrics are: Magic Mirror on the wall. Who’s the most misunderstood of all? But I can’t judge, I just reflect! So what you see is what you get!
With Magic Mirror being front and center of the new stage. The stage is framed by a series of video screens, each encased in ornate picture frames. These screens will serve as portals, bringing iconic Disney Villains to life in a dynamic and immersive way. The centerpiece of the stage is an oval screen, clearly designed to be the Magic Mirror.
Disney’s Villains: Unfairly Ever After is a new musical stage show at Hollywood Studios where audiences are invited into the realm of the Magic Mirror, which is currently trapping dozens of Disney Villains. The central premise revolves around three iconic villains – Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent – who take to the stage to present their cases, arguing why they have been the most unfairly treated of all.
Through witty dialogue, wisecracks, and musical numbers, they share their side of the story, with the ultimate goal of persuading the audience to decide who has been the most misunderstood villain. The show features live performances, a new song from the Magic Mirror, and a visually striking set, with other villains making digital appearances within the mirror’s frames.
